Robbie Williams is set to wed his girlfriend Ayda Field on Saturday, according to a new report. The Angels hit-maker has been dating the actress since 2007 and proposed to her over the Christmas period, prompting a string of speculative stories about when the pair would wed.
Williams, 36, has not spoken publicly about the couple's wedding plans, but Britain's The Sun newspaper suggests Williams and Field will marry on the island of Santa Catalina, off the California coast, on Saturday.
The publication alleges that only close family and friends have been invited to the secret ceremony and all guests have been told to assemble at a small port to be whisked off to the mystery destination.
A source tells the newspaper, "Robbie and Ayda have been deeply in love for a long time now. They spend almost every waking minute of every day together and are completely inseparable.
They have tried to keep the guest list for the wedding as small as possible and have revealed only scant detail of the ceremony to the lucky few who are invited."
It's not the first time the British tabloids have 'named the date' for Williams' nuptials - the Daily Star released a story earlier this year suggesting the Angels singer and his fiancee were planning a Valentine's Day ceremony in February.
