According to CBS news, a man was arrested today in Woodland Hills, California yesterday for allegedly threatening Dr. Drew Pinsky, the star of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.
Pinksy claims that Charles Pearson made multiple threats online, including one that he would kill the doctor’s children and make his wife eat them; Pearson, he also reportedly believes that Drew installed a tracking device in his genitals.
According to the L.A. NBC affiliate, Drew said, “I hope this guy gets treatment because clearly he needs it. He’s probably suffered terribly and we got a dose of it directed our way. He literally was making explicit plans to kill my children. And then making threats to my wife that she would have to eat them. Very bizarre. I feel like we’re safe now.”
Pearson has been charged with felony stalking and is currently being held on $150,000 bail.
