Lindsay Lohan Admits 'I Was Irresponsible'

Her youth, her absent father and her own poor choice of role models led Lindsay Lohan astray, the actress admits in a revealing interview conducted last month, shortly before she began to serve her jail term and stint in treatment.

"I was irresponsible. And I'm not making excuses," Lohan says, according to USA Today and the New York Post, quoting the 24-year-old from a new cover story in Vanity Fair.

In what she now considers "scary and sad," Lohan says part of her problem was that the tabloids were her single news source: "I would look up to those girls … the Britneys and whatever. And I would be like, I want to be like that."

Now, though, her clubbing days are over. "I see where that's gotten me now," she says, "and I don't like it."

Not that she finds her past reputation as a party girl entirely deserved. "If I were the alcoholic everyone says I am," she says, "then putting a [SCRAM] bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room, because I would have had to come down from all the things that people say I'm taking and my father says I'm taking – so that says something, because I was fine."

As for drug use, "I've never abused prescription drugs. I never have – never in my life. I have no desire to. That's not who I am," she says. "I've admitted to the things that I've done – to, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things 'cause I was young and curious and thought it was like, okay, 'cause other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me. And I see what happened in my life because of it."

Going to Los Angeles for her career in her late teens, Lohan, a Long Island native, says, "These were my college years … but they were in the public eye. I was irresponsible. I was experimenting. I was doing certain things that people do 10 times more of when they're in college."

Points Finger at Father
The problem, she surmises, was "I didn't have any structure. In the beginning, I had structure, and then I lost all the structure in my life. I think a lot of it was because when I was doing my first slew of movies, it was very go-go, and I had a lot of responsibility, and I think just the second I didn't have [structure] anymore – I was 18, 19 – with a ton of money."

Largely at fault for her rocky foundation, she says, is father Michael Lohan, who was not there for his family.

"I think if anyone should be looked at medically it's him," says Lindsay. "He has such a big chemical imbalance at this point because of all the things he's done to himself. … The worst part of it is you turn around and you see your dad crying and normally you'd be, like, happy that your father's there. But then he has to go and do an interview right after."

Moving ahead, she says, "I want my career back. I know that I'm a damn good actress, and it's been my passion since I was a child, and I know that when I care about something, I put 100 percent and more into it. … I want the respect that I had when I was doing great movies. And if that takes not going out to a club at night, then so be it. It's not fun anyway. I don't care. It's the same thing every time."

Bristol Palin, The Situation among 'Dancing' stars

The mother of "The Brady Bunch," a former NFL quarterback, one of the self-proclaimed "guidos" from "Jersey Shore" and the daughter of Sarah Palin are among the celebrities who will cha-cha-cha on the 11th season of "Dancing with the Stars."

Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke, hosts of the ABC ballroom competition, announced the cast Monday.

"The Brady Bunch" matriarch Florence Henderson, retired Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner, "Jersey Shore" co-star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Bristol Palin are among the 12 celebrities who will be paired with professional dance partners and train before their prime-time premiere Sept. 20. How does Palin's mother feel about her dancing gig?

"She's excited for me," said Bristol. "She knows that this is going to be hard work, but she's excited."

Also competing for the mirrorball trophy will be: "When a Man Loves a Woman" singer Michael Bolton, comedian-actress Margaret Cho, former Los Angeles Lakers forward Rick Fox, "Dirty Dancing" actress Jennifer Grey, "Baywatch" actor David Hasselhoff, Disney Channel star Kyle Massey, singer-actress Brandy Norwood and "The Hills" co-star Audrina Patridge.

"I'm happy to be here," said Hasselhoff. "My two daughters love this show, and they convinced me."

The names of most of the celebrity contestants, save for 19-year-old "That's So Raven" and "Cory in the House" star Kyle Massey, had been widely rumored as competitors in the weeks leading up to Monday's official announcement, which was broadcast live during "Bachelor Pad." The first celebrity and their professional partner will be eliminated Sept. 21.

Kelsey Grammer Wants To Bring Back 'Frasier'

Kelsey Grammer is making plans to revive his most famous character Dr. Frasier Crane for a new TV show.

The actor found fame playing the pompous psychiatrist in hit 1980s TV show Cheers, and he went on to star in hugely successful spin-off series Frasier. He spent 20 years playing the beloved character before Frasier came to an end in 2004 after more than a decade on the small screen.

Grammer has since failed to replicate his success and has seen a number of new shows flop including Back To You and Hank, and he's now considering bringing back the cast of Frasier for a "reunion show". The funnyman shared the idea with his followers on Twitter.com and also pondered plans for a Frasier spin-off, focusing on the characters' children.

In a series of posts, he writes, "Maybe it is time for a Frasier reunion. (It's) very interesting to say the least... maybe a Frasier reunion on like a new show seriously thinking about that !!!"

He later adds, "I'm now really thinking maybe a spin-off of Frasier? How would u (sic) feel about that with like my son and (Frasier's fictional brother) Niles' sibling? Cameos by old cast?... Maybe an updated theme to be centered around social media. Now that would be powerful, include like Twitter... iPhones etc."

Chad Lowe & Kim Painter Are Now Husband & Wife

It was a pretty little wedding for Pretty Little Liars actor Chad Lowe and his longtime girlfriend.

Lowe, 42, and film producer Kim Painter, were married Saturday in front of family and a small group of friends in an oceanside ceremony at Terranea Resort in Los Angeles.

Chad's brother Rob Lowe was best man. The couple's 15-month old daughter Mabel served as ring bearer.

Lowe and Painter began dating in January 2007. They welcomed Mabel in May 2009 – the first girl born into the Lowe family in nearly four generations.

Heidi Mayne of Red25 Events organized the wedding.

Rudy Guiliani's Daughter Ordered to One Day of Community Service

Caroline Giuliani, a Harvard senior whose father happens to be former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, was ordered on Tuesday to complete one day of community service with the Department of Sanitation – her penance for shoplifting about $100-worth of a Dior skin primer, Bliss moisturizer and a hair net from an Upper East Side Sephora store earlier this month.

Her work cleaning the streets of the city needs to be completed before her next court date on Nov. 4, reports New York's Daily News, noting that the 21-year-old, who never uttered a word in the courtroom, appeared before Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Jennifer Schecter flanked by her mother, Donna Hanover, and stepfather, Edwin Oster. Rudy Giuliani was not present.

The New York Post called the one day of service part of a plea deal in which the young adult admitted no guilt.

Afterward, Caroline did not respond to reporters' questions about her motive or her possible intention to apologize.

"We are not going to have a comment for the press," said her lawyer, Isabelle Kirshner.

Caroline is scheduled to be back at Harvard to begin classes on Wednesday. She is a theater major.

Zsa Zsa Gabor Returns to Hospital

Zsa Zsa Gabor returned to the hospital on Tuesday for being "not responsive," her spokesman said, following a series of health-related setbacks since breaking her hip in July.

John Blanchette, a spokesman for the 93-year-old actress, told Reuters that Gabor's husband, Frederick Prinz von Anhalt, called emergency personnel to take his wife to the University of California Los Angeles because she was "not responsive" and "doctors want her in right away."

No further details were immediately available.

Earlier this month, Gabor was given last rites by a priest at the same hospital.

At that time, doctors wanted to perform surgery on her liver that would give her a 50-50 chance survival rate, but the couple decided "she wanted to spend her final days at home," according to Blanchette. She returned to her Bel Air mansion in mid-August.

Patricia Arquette's 'Friendly' Divorce

Patricia Arquette has dismissed rumors she clashed with her estranged husband Thomas Jane over custody of their young daughter - calling their ongoing divorce "friendly" and "not weird".

The Medium star confirmed her split from The Punisher actor earlier this month and after filing for divorce, Arquette requested full legal and physical custody of their seven-year-old daughter, Harlow.

Subsequent rumors suggested the former couple disagreed over how they should split custody of the youngster, but the actress is adamant the legal proceedings haven't turned bitter.

She tells E! Online, "We're both really good. I don't think people would even imagine that it could be so friendly and not weird."

Joe Perry Says Aerosmith's Future Is 'Up In The Air'

Aerosmith rocker Joe Perry fears the band will be over once its current tour comes to an end - insisting their future together is completely "up in the air."

Perry recently confirmed his bandmate Steven Tyler has been in talks to join the judging panel of American Idol, although an official announcement has yet to be made, and the guitarist criticized the singer for not sharing his plans with his colleagues.

The rocker is now adamant Tyler's new role is a done deal and he's convinced Aerosmith's future is uncertain once their Cocked, Locked, Ready To Rock tour comes to an end in Canada next month.

He tells Cincinnati.com, "He (Tyler) told me just a couple of days ago he signed his papers to join the show. As far as he knew, everything's set to go. I think everybody's a little worn out. The tour is winding up, and we don't know when we'll work again as band. That part of it is up in the air, and it's starting to hit home."

Slash Files for Divorce

After almost nine years of marriage, Slash and wife Perla Ferrar are separating.

The former Guns N' Roses guitarist, 45, filed for divorce Monday in L.A. County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences and July 15, 2010 as the date of separation, according to TMZ.com.

“I can confirm the divorce papers were filed and from Slash’s perspective the split is amicable," his rep tells PEOPLE.

The couple wed in October 2001 and have two sons, London, 8, and Cash, 4. Slash (real name: Saul Hudson) is seeking joint physical and legal custody of the children.

In March 2009, the rocker credited Ferrar and his family for helping him settle down, telling PEOPLE he got "rid of all the real hardcore stuff that I used to live on."

Paris Hilton's Explanation: I Thought the Cocaine Was Gum

When a little white baggie fell out of the purse she was carrying, Paris Hilton had an explanation for Las Vegas police.

"She had not seen it but now thought it was gum,” said an officer's report.

It turned out the baggie actually contained .8 grams of cocaine, and now Hilton faces felony drug-possession charges with a Oct. 27 arraignment.

While speaking to police following a weekend traffic stop, Hilton denied the baggie belonged to her. In fact, she said, the purse wasn't hers either; she had borrowed it from a friend.

But somehow, according to Hilton, the contents of the purse were split between hers and the friend's.

She claimed ownership of a broken Albuterol pill, Zig Zag wrappers commonly used to smoke marijuana, $1,300 in cash and credit cards. But, "She said several cosmetic items inside the purse were not hers," according to the police report.

Football Star Troy Polamalu’s Hair Now Insured for $1 Million

Opposing teams had better mind the hair pulling–Head & Shoulders has taken out a $1 million Lloyds of London policy protecting their spokesperson, Pittsburgh Steelers’ Troy Polamalu’s famous ringlets. “It’s like J.Lo’s insured butt!” he jokes, comparing the famous urban legend surrounding the singer’s derriere to learning about his own very real insurance policy. The beauty brand has reason to keep Troy’s 35″ tresses under lock and key: Women and men across America are desperate for the secret to those Samoan curls, with some of his manliest teammates even trying to score the secret. “One guy in particular… is stealing all of my Head & Shoulder products,” he laughs. Taking 45 minutes pregame to care for his hair has become a ritual for the all-pro safety, who explains, “It’s correlated to what a warrior in the past would do to prepare for war. You have the Mongolians, the Japanese Samurai, the Spartans–all of these warriors with long hair…and in that way you can almost get into the mind-way, preparing for some type of battle when you are doing your hair.” After eight years without so much as a trim, would Troy ever consider cutting his signature locks? “With this big hair insurance–I don’t think so!” he says.

Jesse James and Kat Von D Take Their Romance to Texas

No Tweet needed here – Jesse James and Kat Von D have confirmed they've taken their their relationship to the next level with a weekend getaway to Texas.

The tattooed twosome were spotted holding hands in Fredericksburg, Texas, near Austin where James has relocated for business purposes and so that his kids can be closer to their stepmom, Sandra Bullock.

"They’re definitely not hiding anything at this point," a source close to Von D tells PEOPLE. "Kat’s happy. She doesn’t really care what other people think. She’ll do what she wants regardless."

James and Kat Von D, who reportedly rode in on a motorcycle and visited a World War II museum during their time in the small tourist town, "didn't go unnoticed" by onlookers, according to RadarOnline.com.

The public outing comes two weeks after James, 41, and the LA Ink star, 28, were first spotted getting cozy in Las Vegas.

"Just because I have tattoos doesn't mean, 'Oh, you guys are a perfect match,' " Von D recently told a L.A. radio station. "I think that I'm [Jesse's] type on a different level than people would assume."

'Exorcism' has slim box-office lead over 'Takers'

The fright flick "The Last Exorcism" and the heist thriller "Takers" were in a photo finish for the top spot at the weekend box office, according to studio estimates Sunday.

Lionsgate's "The Last Exorcism" had a thin lead with a $21.3 million debut, closely followed by Sony's "Takers" with a $21 million opening. They were close enough that rankings could change after final numbers are released Monday.

After two weekends in the No. 1 spot, Lionsgate's action romp "The Expendables" slipped to third place with $9.5 million, raising its total to $82 million.

Playing in narrower release, a 3-D special edition of "Avatar" pulled in $4 million, lifting the sci-fi sensation's domestic total to $753.8 million. The new version of the 20th Century Fox blockbuster adds nine minutes of footage.

Both "The Last Exorcism" and "Takers" debuted well above studio expectations, though the openings were modest compared with most big summer debuts.

Overall revenues came in at $115 million, down 8 percent compared with the same weekend last year, when the horror tale "The Final Destination" opened on top with $27.4 million, according to box-office tracker Hollywood.com.

"We've had two weeks of films being all stacked up very closely to one another, and that's a really tight margin between these two," said Paul Dergarabedian, box-office analyst for Hollywood.com. "But it's sort of a battle in a marketplace that really isn't setting the world on fire."

With summer blockbuster season generally over, late August often is a solid time to release scary movies such as "The Final Destination" and "Halloween II," which opened over the same weekend last year.

"You don't see many low-budget genre films released in June or July or even early August," said David Spitz, head of distribution for Lionsgate. "You don't want to put 'The Last Exorcism' up against 'Inception' or these big blockbuster films."

"The Last Exorcism," about an exorcist trying to cast out a demon from a teenager, cost just $2 million to produce, and Lionsgate bought domestic distribution rights for less than $1 million.

"Takers," which cost a modest $32 million to make, features Matt Dillon, Hayden Christensen, Paul Walker and Idris Elba in a thriller about bank robbers pursued by a tough cop.

Rory Bruer, Sony head of distribution, said he expected "Takers" to remain in second place, slightly behind "The Last Exorcism," once final figures are released Monday. Yet the two movies were pacing Hollywood to a strong finish to the summer season, he said.

"I do think both pictures were pretty terrific for ending summer with," Bruer said. "To have two pictures at $20-plus million at the end of August is a good thing."

The extended version of James Cameron's "Avatar" played in just 812 theaters, compared with 2,874 for "The Last Exorcism" and 2,206 for "Takers."

Besides $4 million domestically, the "Avatar" special edition added $4.3 million overseas. The extra revenue is mere icing for the biggest modern blockbuster, whose initial release took in $2.7 billion worldwide.

"There is no unhappy attached to 'Avatar,' because it's the greatest. It's always done business. It's the biggest picture in history," said Fox distribution executive Bert Livingston. "People bought tickets everywhere this weekend. There's no bad."

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Hollywood.com. Final figures will be released Monday.

1. "The Last Exorcism," $21.3 million.

2. "Takers," $21 million.

3. "The Expendables," $9.5 million.

4. "Eat Pray Love," $7 million.

5. "The Other Guys," $6.6 million.

6. "Vampires Suck," $5.3 million.

7. "Inception," $5.1 million.

8. "Nanny McPhee Returns," $4.74 million

9. "The Switch," $4.7 million.

10. "Piranha 3D," $4.3 million.

Fantasia: I'm Bouncing Back

After attempting suicide, Fantasia Barrino is ready to get on with her life. And her first stop on the comeback tour – an impromptu concert in Las Vegas.

With Demi Moore and Soleil Moon Frye on hand, Barrino took to the stage Friday night at Palm's Casino Resort's Rain Nightclub to belt out four songs and briefly detail her recent dark days.

"They thought I was finished, they thought I was done," she told the crowd. "I would never ever stop, I don't care what no one says."

At the club celebrating the release of her newest album, Back To Me, the former American Idol winner took to the stage unbeknownst to the crowd, singing "Bittersweet," and also covering Prince's "Purple Rain" and Rufus and Chaka Khan's "Tell Me Something Good."

"I was in the hospital but now I bounce back," she said. "Don't ever let your haters stop you. Don't ever let them stop your destiny."

Earlier in evening Barrino, donning a silver dress and knee-high boots, dined at N9NE Steakhouse with hotel co-owner Gavin Maloof. While dining, Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps stopped at her table to say hello.

Report: Three New Faces To Join ‘SNL’

Three comedians have reportedly been tapped as the latest additions to the “Saturday Night Live” cast.

Paul Brittain, Vanessa Bayer and Taran Killam will reportedly join the 36th season of the famous comedy show, according to The Comic’s Comic.

All three of the comedians come from an improv comedy background — Brittain and Bayer reportedly perform with iO Chicago (formerly Improv Olympic), while Killam hails from LA-based troupe The Groundlings.

iO founder Charna Halpern also reportedly confirmed the casting of Brittain and Bayer to The Chicago Tribune.

“How I Met Your Mother” fans may recognize Killam from his recurring role as Blauman on the CBS hit show.

He has also appeared in multiple episodes of “Scrubs.”

The new comes just one day after “SNL” veteran Will Forte announced he was leaving the show.

Nick Cannon: Mariah Carey Would Be the Best Mom

As pregnancy speculation swirls, Nick Cannon will only confirm this – he's ready to have a baby with wife Mariah Carey.

"She's very nurturing," Cannon, 29, told PEOPLE at the US Open's Arthur Ashe Kids Day event in New York Saturday. "She's nurturing with me and makes me breakfast at anytime and that's my favorite food. It would be like 3 o'clock in the morning and she will still make me waffles. She'll be the best mom."

If Cannon does become a father, he plans to learn from his own parents. "I want to raise a child like the way I was brought up," he says. "Be someone who is stern but still fun loving and knows how to have a good time."

When asked if he would prefer to have a girl or a boy, the host of America's Got Talent says he "just wants something that is healthy" but is a little nervous on how to approach certain situations associated with a boy and girl.

"It's great to have a girl until she turns into a teenager. Then you have to worry about every other boy in the neighborhood and that would freak me out," he says. "With a boy, I'd be worrying about him breaking his arms and his legs. I was that type of kid. I was a daredevil so I'd be having to worry about that."

Paris Hilton arrested on cocaine charge in Vegas

Paris Hilton was arrested late Friday after a police motorcycle officer smelled marijuana smoke wafting from a black Cadillac Escalade driven by her boyfriend on the Las Vegas Strip, then found cocaine in her purse, authorities said.

A crowd quickly gathered when Hilton and Las Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits were stopped about 11:30 p.m. Friday in the vehicle near the Wynn Las Vegas resort, police said.

The 29-year-old celebrity socialite was taken into the hotel "to keep her safe" during the initial investigation, police Lt. Wayne Holman said.

Police Officer Marcus Martin said the motorcycle officer pulled the Escalade over on Las Vegas Boulevard after noticing smoke that smelled like marijuana. Police later found a substance in Hilton's purse that tests showed to be cocaine, Martin said. He didn't say how much of the drug was found.

Hilton was arrested on suspicion of felony cocaine possession.

Waits, 34, was arrested on misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Both were booked into the Clark County jail, where Martin said Hilton was released without bail about 2:45 a.m. Saturday.

Less than an hour later, Hilton's Twitter account was updated with a posting that said the actress was in bed watching the television show "Family Guy," and then that she was going to sleep. It was unclear if the tweets came from her, were posted by time-release or were sent by someone else.

If convicted of the low-grade felony, Hilton would get probation. Any violation of probation would be punishable by one to four years in Nevada state prison.

Clark County District Attorney David Roger declined comment Saturday about the case.

Hilton's attorney, David Chesnoff, told The Associated Press on Saturday morning that he was still gathering facts about the arrest.

"I caution people not to rush to judgment," he said.

Waits' lawyer, Richard Schonfeld, said Waits posted $2,000 bail and was expected to be released Saturday.

Court appearance dates for Hilton and Waits were not immediately available.

Schonfeld said he was "troubled by the circumstances" leading to the arrest, but declined to specify his concerns.

"As the case proceeds, a lot of facts are going to come to light that will ultimately lead to exoneration," Schonfeld said.

Hilton's manager did not immediately respond early Saturday to telephone calls for comment. Hilton's publicist, Dawn Miller, did not immediately return an e-mail message.

A spokeswoman for Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

Waits and his twin brother, Jesse, are managing partners of the Tryst Nightclub inside Wynn Las Vegas, Drai's after hours club at Bill's Gamblin' Hall & Saloon, and XS The Nightclub at Wynn's Encore resort. A spokeswoman for Harrah's resorts declined immediate comment.

Earlier this week, Hilton was in the news when a 31-year-old man allegedly tried to break into her Los Angeles home.

Authorities have said that someone carrying two big knives banged on Hilton's window Tuesday. She posted a photo of the arrest on Twitter and described it as "scary." Nathan Lee Parada faces a felony burglary charge.

Hilton was arrested this summer after the Brazil-Netherlands World Cup match in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, on suspicion of possession of marijuana. The case was then dropped at a midnight court hearing.

Hilton pleaded no contest in 2007 to alcohol-related reckless driving and was sentenced to 45 days in jail. After spending about 23 days in jail, Hilton told CNN host Larry King that the experience caused her to re-evaluate the role partying played in her life. She said she wanted "to help raise money for kids and for breast cancer and multiple sclerosis."

While most famous for her tabloid exploits and reality TV series "The Simple Life," Hilton has appeared in the films "Bottoms Up," "The Hottie & the Nottie" and "House of Wax."

Usher on His Marriage: I Don't Regret Anything

Usher's marriage to Tameka Foster may have ended in divorce, but the singer doesn't consider the relationship a failure.

"I appreciate the relationship for what it was," he says. "Even though it didn't work out, I'm glad we got together. I love her as the mother of my children; we just couldn't be married."

So what went wrong? Usher says that shortly after the birth of their second child, he and Foster started to disagree over everything from parenting style to his busy schedule.

"We're two different people," he says, "and we have two different goals. It just was never going to work out 100 percent."

The singer, 31, who sat down with PEOPLE in his Atlanta-area home, says that the couple's priority continues to be their children. (He and Foster share custody of Usher V, who turns 3 in November, and Naviyd, who turns 2 a month later.)

"We had to put our issues aside and focus on raising them," he says. "There will never be another mother for my sons, and I'll always be their father."
Life Father, Like Sons
Raising two boisterous boys can be challenging, especially when they take after their famous dad. "Usher [V] is always in everything," he says. "He's an instigator. He's the one who leads his brother astray. I was like that when I was his age."

Naviyd is more of a follower, doing whatever his big brother does. "So if one gets in trouble, the other one does, too," says Usher. "They both have a lot of energy. They can wear me out."

Fortunately, Usher has a babysitter nearby – his mom, Jonetta Patton, lives around the corner. "She spoils them," Usher says with a sigh. "She lets them do everything that she wouldn't let me do. Sometimes, when I'm scolding the kids, I sound just like my mom. I'm like, 'how did Jonetta get in here?' "
His Career
Usher, who released his new EP Versus last week, says that his work continues to evolve as he evolves in his own life.

"My music is about where I am at the time," he says. "In Raymond vs. Raymond, I was going through a lot of things, and it came out in my music. My marriage fell apart and I was suddenly a single father. But now, with Versus, I'm singing about being a dating father."

And will he sing about falling in love again? "I still believe in love," says Usher. "I believe in marriage. When I fall in love again, everyone will know. I'll sing about it."

Brooke Shields Breaks Her Hand During Rehearsals

Actors are told to "break a leg" for good luck. But a hand, too?

"Brooke broke her hand during rehearsal for the musical Leap of Faith, her rep says. "The cast will be off before previews on Sept. 11. It was a minor break and did not affect the production schedule."

Shields, 45, is starring with Raúl Esparaza in the show at the Ahmanson Theatre. Opening night is Oct. 3.

Drake And Nicki Minaj Tweet About Getting Married

It seems like two members of the Young Money family just got a lot closer. On Friday (August 27), Nicki Minaj and Drake seemingly announced on their Twitter pages that they are married.

"U scurred? @drakkardnoir u ready to make the announcement or wha?" Minaj tweeted Friday afternoon. Drizzy responded about an hour later with, "Baby I am never scared. PROUD is more the word I would use," before tweeting, "Please refer to @nickiminaj as Mrs. Aubrey Drake Graham and dont stare at her too long. She's finally mine. :)."

The hip-hip diva re-tweeted Drake's missive and added, "Yes, its true. Drake and I tied the knot."

A rep for their label had no comment when MTV News reached out Friday.

Hip-hop heads have speculated about Drake and Minaj's relationship before, and buzz spiked when fans heard a very eyebrow-raising line on Drizzy's "Miss Me" single.

"I love Nicki Minaj/ I told her I'd admit it/ I hope one day we get married just to say we f---ing did it/ And girl, I'm f---ing serious/ I'm with it if you with it/ 'Cause your verses turn me on, and your pants are mighty fitted," the Toronto MC spits.

In June, Drizzy told DJ Envy on MTV2's "Sucker Free Countdown" that he had genuine feelings for Minaj. "I've always really, actually, really had a crush on her, always really loved her, and she's always just looked at me as, like, her little brother," Drake said.

However, Minaj batted away any ideas that Drake is anything more than just her sometime partner-in-rhyme.

"Drake does not have a crush on me," Minaj assured Envy. "Drake knows how to get you guys' attention."

The company says the third movie in the Pixar series will pass $1 billion in worldwide ticket sales today (Friday).

"Toy Story 3" has become Disney's third-biggest movie ever and is the best-grossing animated film of all time.

Levi Johnston: Bristol Palin Loves the Limelight Just as Much as I Do

Back on the outs yet again with the Palin clan, Levi Johnston – would-be Hollywood star and new candidate for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska – says Bristol Palin is just as hungry for the limelight as he is.

"I don't think I'm any more obsessed with making a career out of this than she is," the recent Playgirl model said in an interview that ran Friday on CBS's Early Show. "Obviously she's doing Dancing with the Stars. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with any of it. I'm just taking it as it comes.

And as for that apology to almost-mother-in-law Sarah Palin? "That was something I did to make my fiancée happy," he said.

Now Johnston, 20, is eyeing Sarah Palin's former office as mayor of the town where he became father of Sarah Palin's grandson Tripp. After an ugly split in which Johnston publicly badmouthed the former vice presidential candidate as a money-hungry diva, Johnston briefly reunited with Sarah Palin's daughter. Bristol, 19 – only to end up calling off the engagement a second time, with Bristol saying Johnston was more interested in becoming a celebrity than in being a husband and dad.

Fears Sounding Like a Liar
"I don't really regret anything," he told CBS. "But the only thing I wish I wouldn't have done is to put out that apology, 'cause it kind of makes me sound like a liar. And I've never lied about anything. So that's probably the only thing. The rest of the stuff I can live with."

Despite the fact he's never graduated from high school and is taping a reality show that he is trying to pitch, Johnston insists he'd be a better mayor than Sarah Palin.

"I don't think being mayor is about qualifications. I think it's about people liking you and believing in you," he said.

But he noted: "If we do win, I'm going to have to give up Hollywood for three years."

The Grammy winner spotted Toby Hemingway in movie Feast of Love and picked him to marry her on screen in the promo for her latest single Mine.

Swift said at the time,"I just loved that movie and thought Toby was so great that I thought it would be perfect to put him in the video."

The pair got on so well during the shoot, they're now dating for real according to reports.

The New York Post claims the couple has been spending time together and that Hemingway is due to be Swift's date at the forthcoming Country Music Television (CMT) TV launch of Mine.

John Mayer: I'm Not Back with Jennifer Aniston

Ani-Mayer 2.0? Not happening.

John Mayer took to his blog to blast an online suggestion his concert comments about "second chances" related to getting back together with Jennifer Aniston.

"This is equal parts fabricated, cobbled together and misleading," Mayer writes. "Let's break it down: I don't think I ever said 'I believe in second chances!" but I can't be 100 percent sure, as it's possible I could have accidentally said something succinctly and to the point."

Another quote he says was taken out of context from his Hollywood show last weekend was actually a reference to the song "Half of My Heart," not a veiled comment about a rekindling of his romance with Aniston – something he's said he's never gotten over.

"Two sentences about different things at different points in a concert," he says.

Jenny Craig Spokesperson Sara Rue: ‘I’m Done Losing Weight’

Eight months after signing on to be a Jenny Craig spokesperson, Sara Rue is at the weight she plans to stay. Dropping a remarkable 50 pounds, and going from a size 14 to her current 6, the actress says she’s comfortable with her body as is. “I’m done losing weight,” she tells PEOPLE. “I feel great, and I love looking like a woman. I love being curvy and having boobs and hips. It’s hot. I don’t ever want to be size zero.” Rue, who is now on Jenny Craig’s maintenance program, says she still has to work at keeping off the weight. “I do my workouts five times a week,” she says. “I work out with my trainer one or two times a week, and we run together. As long as I do cardio for 45 minutes to an hour each day I work out, I feel like I’m okay.” And while Rue keeps to a strict diet and exercise regimen, she admits that she always allows herself room for treats. “On the Jenny Craig plan, you can have a glass of wine,” she says. “So, yeah, I drink wine, I drink champagne.” But the best treat of all for Rue was landing the stamp of approval from her best friend’s boyfriend. “I hadn’t seen him in months, and he was like, ‘Holy s—t!’ really loudly and he kept staring at me,” she says. “I think he had the best reaction.”

Kim Kardashian: 'I Would Date Justin Bieber If He Were Legal'

Kim Kardashian joked to George Lopez on Lopez Tonight that she would definitely date Justin Bieber if he was 18. "He definitely has this swag to him," she said. "You just have to meet him. I thought that the shoot was all in fun. We had a good time. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion about it."

Kim has recently drawn the ire of Bill O'Reilly for her photo shoot with Justin, who claimed that Justin would be in a lot of trouble if the ages were switched. "I'll tell you this: If a 16-year-old girl was pictured with a 29-year-old man in any of that, he'd be in big trouble. Game over," Bill said at the time.

Earlier this year, Justin had to plead with his fans to cease sending Kim death threats after he jokingly referred to her as his girlfriend.

Kristen Bell and Anna Paquin join 'Scream 4'

In addition to assembling a who's who of young Hollywood, Dimension Films has confirmed that Anna Paquin and Kristen Bell are also joining what we hope will be a bloody good time.

As with most of the roles in this latest “Scream” installment, it’s unknown as to who Paquin and Bell will portray, but we do know they’ll be sharing the screen with other “Scream” newcomers like Hayden Panettiere, Emma Roberts, Adam Brody and Alison Brie.

Roberts will play Sidney Prescott's cousin Jill, who has been painted as the heroine of the film, while Panettiere is Jill’s film geek best friend, Kirby. Brody will play the boy in blue as the recently graduated Detective Hoss, and “Mad Men’s” Brie will play Sidney’s personal assistant who’s jealous of Sidney’s fame.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a scream without Sidney Prescott, so Neve Campbell is returning to reprise her role as the tortured young woman, along with two of the "Scream" franchise's other regulars, Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette.

The “Scream” trilogy, which has earned close to $300 million domestically, had Wes Craven directing for all three installments, and the horror king is back on board as director/producer of “Scream 4.” The slasher is expected to slice into theaters in April 2011.

Tiger Woods: It's a Sad Time

His divorce has been finalized and his ex-wife has opened up to PEOPLE. Now, it's Tiger Woods's turn to speak out.

"I wish her the best in everything," he said Wednesday at a press conference at The Barclays golf tournament in New Jersey. "It's a sad time in our lives. And we're looking forward to how we can help our kids the best way we possibly can. And that's the most important thing."

When a reporter asked Woods if he still loves Elin Nordegren, he didn't answer, instead repeating, "That's the most important thing."

Asked if he was "relieved" with the split, Woods paused. "I don't think that's the word," he says. I think it's just more sadness. Because I don't think you ever – you don't ever go into a marriage looking to get divorced. That's the thing. That's why it is sad."

Woods admits that he would change things if he could. "My actions certainly led us to this decision," he said. "And I've certainly made a lot of errors in my life and that's something I'm going to have to live with."

After saying that the divorce "was a lot more difficult than I was letting on," Woods once again addressed the PEOPLE interview. "I certainly understand that she is sad," he said. "And I feel the same way."

Kelly Preston and John Travolta Expecting a Boy!

Break out the blue balloons: It’s a boy!

Kelly Preston and John Travolta — who announced they were expecting this past May — are having a son, Preston’s rep confirms to PEOPLE.

On Aug. 8, the couple celebrated their happy news with some 40 close friends at a shower held at their Los Angeles-area home.

The intimate outdoor gathering, which featured a bird’s nest theme by Lady Liberty Catering & Event Planning and a three-layer cake from baker Dorie Kinney, “was a wonderful day,” says shower co-host Keisha Whitaker.

The joyful occasion marked continued healing for Preston, 47, and Travolta, 56, whose son Jett suffered a fatal seizure at age 16 in January 2009.

Says a family friend: “This baby is such a healing baby.” He will join big sister Ella Bleu, 10.

Timbaland: 'Why Would I Commit Suicide?'

Don't worry about Timbaland – he never tried to take his own life.

"I don't even know what happened, to be honest," the rapper-producer (real name: Timothy Mosley) told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday, after reports that he tried to commit suicide surfaced online. "I don't know what people are talking about. Why would I commit suicide?"

Earlier Wednesday, news broke that Timbaland, 39, fled his house and wanted to harm himself after someone reportedly stole a $2 million watch from his collection.

"Something did happen," he told Seacrest, confirming that he was robbed. "It wasn't a watch [that was stolen]. It was something else." And, Timbaland says, he "took a drive to figure out how I'm going to handle it," while somebody close to him reportedly called the authorities, concerned about his well-being.

According to the Malibu Lost Hills Sherriff's Department, a caller indicated they "had an emergency," that Timbaland was upset and under stress – and that he left his Malibu house in his Cadillac Escalade. Authorities added that his wife, mother-in-law and friends were unable to find him and were under the impression he had taken some medication before driving off.

Telling Seacrest that those closest to him likely feared for his safety because they hadn't heard from him, the rapper-producer understands that "people got worried." When police tracked him down on the Pacific Coast Highway, he recognized the officer and assured him that everything was fine after being told of his family's concern.

"I snapped," he told Seacrest. "I was like, 'Who would report something like that?' "

Amid all the drama, Timbaland returned to the studio Wednesday to record with Keri Hilson. Said Timbaland: "I don't know a person who would [try to] commit suicide [and then] be at the studio."

Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth Split

Miley Cyrus is back on the market.

The teen queen, 17, has split with Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth, Hemsworth rep tells UsMagazine.com. (Cyrus' rep had no comment.)
The two met in 2009 on the set of The Last Song, based on the Nicholas Sparks novel.

This past March, she told Ellen DeGeneres when she was first introduced to Hemsworth, 20, she didn't think anything of it.

"I was actually going through a tough time," she said. "I was like, guys just need to be out of my life for a little while. [I thought] 'I just need to alone.'"

"But I met him, and he opened the door for me, and I was like, I have been in L.A. for three years and I don't think any guy has actually opened the door for me," she went on. "It wasn't that he wanted the job. That's just who he is. I was like, 'Wow, that is super-impressive.' I actually turned to the director and said, 'He's got the job.' He's hot and he opened the door. Excellent."

At the March 25 L.A. premiere of Last Song, he told Us they had "a lot of fun" filming the romantic drama.

"It was pretty much jokes every day," he said. "Jokes and shooting on the beach -- there wasn’t much to complain about!"

The same month, she gushed to Parade: "[Liam has] become my best friend in the whole wide world. I love him. He really respects me for who I am because coming from Australia, he really didn’t know me as the celebrity I am here. I got to tell him about myself on my own terms and my own way. He had no preconceived notion of who I was supposed to be."

In June, she took to her website to deny rumors that they've called it quits.

On her website, she told fans: "Just wanna clear up a rumor. Liam [Hemsworth] and I did not break. EVER! We are so happy and a lot of that has to do with the amazing relationship he has with my family."

Gossip Cop first reported news of the split.

Judge orders strict outpatient care for Lohan

A judge on Wednesday ordered Lindsay Lohan to undergo a rigorous outpatient rehab program that will require frequent counseling but will permit the actress to continue working.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox ordered the "Mean Girls" star to undergo psychotherapy and addiction counseling sessions several times a week until November. He also ordered the 24-year-old to submit to random drug and alcohol testing at least twice a week and to continue living in the Los Angeles area.

He said Lohan could be sent back to jail for up to 30 days if she doesn't comply or if she fails the drug and alcohol screenings.

Fox laid out the terms of the actress' early release from an inpatient rehab center during a 10 minute hearing, which Lohan did not attend. The judge said he ordered the actress' release at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The judge did give Lohan some incentives and rewards. He dismissed two drug counts that the actress had pleaded guilty to in 2007. He also said Lohan will be taken off supervised probation in November if she complies with his orders, passes all drug and alcohol tests and does not miss any of her counseling sessions.

Fox took over Lohan's case after another, Judge Marsha Revel, recused herself. A prosecutor had complained Revel met with defense attorneys and called rehabilitation programs without notifying her.

Revel had ruled in July that Lohan violated her probation in the 2007 drug case by missing seven alcohol education classes since December. Lohan spent 14 days in jail and was immediately taken to an inpatient rehabilitation facility at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she had been ordered to remain for three months.

Fox said he based his modifications on the recommendations of Lohan's doctors and after reviewing three years of filings and medical records in the case.

Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said the actress is eager to prove that she can comply with Fox's orders.

"She has changed," Holley said. "She's healthy. She's clear-headed. She is positive at looking forward."

Holley said Lohan would not attend a screening of her latest film project, "Machete," that is scheduled for Wednesday evening. But she said Lohan's treatment schedule will permit the actress to resume working.

"This was a good day for her in court," Holley said. "She has complied with everything that has been asked of her."

Prosecutors did not oppose any of the conditions Fox placed on the star.

Lohan's case is due back in court Nov. 1.

Fantasia denies allegations she is a homewrecker

Fantasia said she was so upset about allegations that she broke up a marriage she was ready to die. "I felt like if that would have happened, I would have been fine with that — I would have been OK with that," she said in an interview with The Associated Press on Monday afternoon, nearly two weeks after she attempted suicide.

The former "American Idol" champ took a mixture of aspirin and sleeping pills after she was named in divorce papers as the cause of a couple's breakup. The 26-year-old said she was so devastated and upset about lies being spread about her that she couldn't function anymore.

"I had never experienced that — I was very numb," she said.

As for the accusations that she knowingly dated Antwaun Cook even though he was married with kids, she said he was already separated when they started dating: "I don't think I would stand for going in and breaking up somebody's home."

While she called Cook a good guy and a "great friend," she said they are no longer together, and haven't been for a while.

Fantasia shares some of her story on VH1's "Behind the Music," airing Tuesday, and a new season of her reality show "Fantasia for Real" debuts in September. She is hopeful the show will tell her side of the story: "The best way for me to clear my name is through my show," she said.

Her focus now, however, is on her album, "Back to Me," out on Tuesday. She is in therapy, and said she's now better able to cope with her problems.

"I must say it was probably a blessing to be in the hospital," she said, adding: "It ain't time for me to go yet."

Police: Intruder arrested at Paris Hilton's home

A man has been arrested at Paris Hilton's Los Angeles home after the socialite said he tried to break into her house while holding two big knives.

Police Officer Gregory Baek says the man was arrested about 6:30 a.m. Tuesday but his name hasn't been released.

Hilton said on her Twitter page: "So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes. Cops are here arresting him."

Baek couldn't confirm if the man was armed.

Baek says the break-in was reported by telephone but he didn't know if it came from Hilton or an alarm company.

Hilton posted a photo on Twitter of police arresting the man.

George Michael pleads guilty to drug offenses

It was a slow-motion car crash — a handy metaphor for George Michael's career.

The multimillion-selling singer was warned Tuesday that he may face jail time after driving his car into a London photo shop while under the influence of drugs.

It was the latest in a string of bizarre automotive and drug-related mishaps that have raised fears for Michael's safety, but done little to dent the 47-year-old's iconic status, which endures more than two decades after he released his best-selling records.

Michael was mobbed by several dozen photographers Tuesday as he arrived at London's Highbury Corner Magistrates Court, where he admitted driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cannabis.

He was charged after plowing his Range Rover into a branch of Snappy Snaps in Hampstead, north London, in the wee hours of July 4. The dent in the wall is still visible, and someone has added one word of graffiti: Wham.

The car's engine was still running when police arrived, but Michael had to be roused, police said. They described Michael as appearing "spaced out."

"Mr. Michael looked at the officer with his eyes wide open and the officers could see his pupils were dilated," said prosecutor Penny Fergusson. "They opened the door and could see he was dripping with sweat."

Prosecutors said Michael acknowledged smoking marijuana and taking a prescription sedative.

The former Wham! lead singer, booked under his real name of Georgios Panayiotou, spoke only to confirm his identity and plead guilty to driving while unfit.

Judge Robin McPhee banned Michael from driving for six months, and warned he could face jail time when he is sentenced Sept. 14.

"It is a serious matter. Your driving was extremely poor and there was an accident," McPhee said, adding that Michael has already had one conviction. "I make it clear all options in respect of sentencing remain open, including powers to imprison."

Michael and cars have a checkered history. In February 2006, he was found slumped at the wheel of his car at London's busy Hyde Park Corner. That April, he hit three parked cars while trying to maneuver out of a parking space, and admitted being "a terrible driver."

In October 2006, he was found slumped over the wheel of his car, which was blocking an intersection. He pleaded guilty to driving while unfit through drugs and was sentenced to community service.

Last year, he was involved in a late-night crash with a truck outside London. Michael released a statement stressing he was "stone cold sober" at the time.

"The man could solve all his problems by getting a chauffeur," said Neil McCormick, rock critic for the Daily Telegraph newspaper.

Michael has an acknowledged fondness for marijuana, and also said in a 2007 television interview that he was addicted to prescription drugs. At the time, he blamed his erratic behavior to an attention-seeking and "self-destructive" impulse brought on by the death of his mother a decade earlier.

None of it has dented his status as a musical icon — and a survivor.

Michael gained mega-stardom in his early 20s as half of Wham! and went on to a successful solo career. His first solo album, 1987's "Faith," has sold 20 million copies.

His sexuality became public in 1998 when he was arrested for lewd conduct in a public toilet in Los Angeles after being spotted by a male undercover police officer.

Michael went on to release a single and video, "Outside," that poked fun at his arrest.

His recent albums have not matched the sales of his early work, but his first tour in 15 years, in 2006, was a sellout.

At Tuesday's court appearance, the public gallery was filled with fans who shouted out "you're an inspiration" and "I love you" and asked for autographs as he left the courtroom.

McCormick said Michael's legacy as an artist, and an influence on other musicians, is secure.

"It's not only him who's not going to sell as many records as he did in the 80s — nobody's going to sell as many records as anybody did in the 80s," McCormick said.

"He seems incredibly together. He has a sense of humor, he looks pretty healthy and he has a good idea of himself, what he means and what his life is in this post-superstar fame world that drives people mad."

Will Lindsay Lohan Leave Rehab This Week?

Lindsay Lohan may be checking out early – again.

The actress's three-month jail sentence was cut short due to overcrowding, and now she may be sprung early from UCLA rehab to outpatient care.

A hearing is set for Wednesday morning at a Beverly Hills courthouse where a new judge, Elden Fox, likely will revisit the sentence handed down by his predecessor.

"There's a possibility she could get out from inpatient treatment earlier than 90 days," District Attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison told PEOPLE. "But where she might go depends on whatever the doctors recommend."

Lohan, 24, has been receiving treatment at the campus hospital since Aug. 2. Even if she is released early, she may still receive care.

"The outpatient program is just like the inpatient program, except you get to go home at night," a UCLA patient tells PEOPLE.

As of now, Lohan is also subject to random drug and alcohol testing until the end of her probation term in August 2011, but those conditions could change at the hearing.

Nick Cannon Dodges Latest Mariah Carey Pregnancy Rumors

Photos of Mariah Carey in Brazil have generated another round of pregnancy speculation – and another noncommittal response from husband Nick Cannon.

"I've said it before and I'll say it time and time again – when my wife feels like talking about whatever she wants to talk about, you will hear it directly from her," Cannon, 29, said on his radio show Monday on New York's 92.3 FM.

Elaborating on a Twitter message he posted in June, Cannon stresses that the issue is delicate. "We all know it's extremely personal, and it is for a woman to deal with things with her body, and especially when dealing with the idea of childbirth and all that stuff," he says.

But he explains that if there ever is news to announce, the couple want to "strategically plan it out properly" to avoid "media hoopla."

"That's something you want to keep near and dear and as close to you as you possibly can, until you're 100% sure, in any situation," he says. "There's a certain time limit you're supposed to wait before you can actually officially say that you are and all that stuff. You don't want to mislead anybody."

Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren's Divorce Is Final

After months of speculation, the marriage between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren Woods is officially over: The couple were present at Bay County Circuit Court in Panama City, Fla., Monday for the execution of their divorce agreement.

"We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future," they said in a statement released by Nordegren's Virginia-based law firm of McGuireWoods. "While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us."

The documents do not reveal details of the split, but the couple's statement also says, "Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern."

The settlement – division of property and assets – was undisclosed, but varying reports have suggested that Elin, 30, could receive anywhere from $100 million in assets to as much as five times that figure. Sources have previously told PEOPLE that custody was the key issue for both, and that the couple wanted to share custody of their two children, Sam Alexis, 3, and Charlie Axel, 1.

Whatever the terms of the divorce are, they have likely changed over the past few months. Sources say that although Elin had signed a prenuptial agreement, it was renegotiated after the sex scandal that derailed Tiger's personal life and professional career.

The split comes as little surprise to those closest to the 34-year-old Woods.

Shortly after the November car accident outside his family home, reports emerged that he had been carrying on several affairs. After he admitted his infidelities, he put his golf career on hold while he attended what was described as sex rehab in an undisclosed location.

Overdose No Accident, Says Fantasia – 'I Wanted Out'

Two weeks after being hospitalized for overdosing on aspirin and a sleep aid, singer Fantasia Barrino says she knew exactly what she was doing. She wanted to die.

"I didn't have any fight in me. I didn't care about anything. I just wanted out," the American Idol winner, 26, tells VH1 in a new Behind the Music interview, airing 9 p.m. ET/PT Tuesday, the same day her new album, Back to Me, is released. "At that moment, I wanted out. I wanted it to be over with – all of it, all of that [expletive]."

She continues: "I just sat in the closet and looked at the mirror and took all the pills in the bottle. I wanted to go to sleep and just be at peace. I knew exactly what I was doing. You can't accidentally take a whole bottle of pills."

Barrino's manager, Brian Dickens, recalls finding her lying on the floor in her room. "Her emotions were extremely low," he says. "She'd been crying all day. Fantasia was just numb. Fantasia texted me, saying 'I love you.' I wrote back, 'I love you more.' Then it hit me."

"I wrote, 'You better not do anything or think about doing anything stupid.' And I left it at that. About 10 minutes later, Fantasia texted me back, and she said, 'Already did.' I went into Fantasia's room and saw her on the floor, and my heart just dropped."

What made the successful singer, who's preparing to release her third album, want to end her life? "I was tired of people doing me wrong, constantly, over and over again, dealing with my family – my father, dealing with men and their [expletive] – I was tired," she says. "My head was hurting me. I was over it."

Affair with Antwaun Cook
To complicate matters even more, Barrino is now being threatened with a lawsuit by Paula Cook, the wife of Antwaun Cook, with whom Fantasia had been having an affair.

"When I met him, he was separated ... wasn't living in his home. He didn't want to be back with his wife – that is what I was told," Barrino says. "I remember waking up in the hospital [and thinking], 'It didn't work, I'm still here in this hellhole. Still here with all this drama going on.' "

Ultimately, the singer says the saving grace was her nurse. "My nurse Melanie was a blessing into my life because she didn't tell me what I wanted to hear," she says. "She told me what I needed to hear. And she looked at me and said, 'You gotta get up, and you've gotta get out of here, 'cause you haven't fulfilled your destiny.' "

"I realized how people end up in the grave. Because that one moment [snaps her fingers] of just breaking or feeling like I can't, I can't go on, it's too heavy. That was somewhere I don't ever want to go again."

Sandra Bullock Being Wooed for Movie – with Tom Hanks

In what would be her first movie project since winning the Best Actress Oscar for The Blind Side, Sandra Bullock could be starring opposite Tom Hanks in the drama Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close – if two studios have their way, reports Variety.

Offers have gone out to the actors from Warner Bros. and Paramount, which would jointly release the movie, to be produced by Scott Rudin, says the trade paper.

Lined up to direct is Stephen Daldry, whose The Reader won a Best Actress Oscar for Kate Winslet. The script, by Oscar winner Eric Roth (Forrest Gump), is based on the 2005 Jonathan Safran Foer novel about a 9-year-old, Oskar Schell, who's lost his father in the 9/11 attacks.

The boy searches all over Manhattan for a lock to match the key he's found in a vase that belonged to his dad.

Double Oscar winner Hanks, most recently heard as the voice of Woody the cowboy in this summer's Disney-Pixar smash Toy Story 3, will next be seen opposite his Charlie Wilson's War costar, Julia Roberts, in Larry Crowne – which Hanks also directed and produced.

Bryan Cranston, Cedric the Entertainer, Nia Vardalos and Wilmer Valderrama also costar in the comedy-drama, which is to be released next year.

Jennifer Aniston Reuniting with Courteney Cox for Cougar Town

Jennifer Aniston is returning to the small screen with some help from a friend.

The Switch actress, 41, will guest star on Courteney Cox‘s Cougar Town for the show’s season 2 premiere on Sept. 22, ABC announced Monday.

“She’s going to play Courteney’s shrink named Bonnie,” executive producer Bill Lawrence tells EW.com about their TV reunion. “Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist.”

This will mark the second time the duo have teamed up after Friends ended in 2004. Aniston also made an appearance on Cox’s FX show Dirt in 2007.

“Those guys are so close in real-life they kind of do that for each other anyway,” says Lawrence, adding that the new role was something Cox and Aniston were “both involved in creatively.”

And if Lawrence gets his way, Aniston will be back for more. “We’re very intentionally implying that it’s a therapist Courteney has been using for a while and we’re certainly not going to make it like they’ll never see each other again,” he says. “So I’m crossing my fingers that if she has a good time it’ll happen again.”

Stallone's 'Expendables' retains crown with $16.5M

Sylvester Stallone's "The Expendables" fought off an onslaught of newcomers to finish on top of the weekend box office again.

Lionsgate's "The Expendables" remained No. 1 for a second straight weekend with $16.5 million, according to studio estimates Sunday. Directed by and starring Stallone, the action romp about mercenaries aiming to overthrow a dictator raised its total to $64.9 million.

Five new wide releases debuted to crowd the market, but none managed to pack in huge audiences and knock off "The Expendables."

"Given all that competition in the marketplace, I don't think there was any guarantee we would hold this strong, but we did," said David Spitz, head of distribution for Lionsgate.

Leading the newcomers was 20th Century Fox's "Twilight" spoof "Vampires Suck" with $12.2 million, raising its total to $18.6 million since it opened Wednesday. The movie mocks the blockbuster franchise with a parody about a moody schoolgirl in a love triangle with a vampire and a werewolf.

"Vampires Suck" was in a photo finish for the No. 2 spot with another holdover, Julia Roberts' drama "Eat Pray Love." The Sony film about a divorced woman traveling the world in search of fulfillment pulled in $12 million to lift its total to $47.1 million.

The Warner Bros. comedy "Lottery Ticket," featuring rapper Bow Wow as a young man besieged by neighbors after he wins a $370 million jackpot, opened in fourth place with $11.1 million.

Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg's cop comedy "The Other Guys" held up well in its third weekend, with the Sony release taking in $10.1 million and boosting its total to $88.2 million.

"The Other Guys" was in a tossup for No. 5 with the Weinstein Co. horror remake "Piranha 3D," which opened with $10 million. Inspired by the low-budget 1978 "Piranha," the update is set at a lake where spring-break partiers are consumed by prehistoric man-eating fish.

Universal's sequel "Nanny McPhee Returns," with Emma Thompson back as the homely title character whipping a wartime family into shape, opened at No. 7 with $8.3 million. The first film, 2006's "Nanny McPhee," debuted in fewer theaters but managed to pull in $14.5 million over opening weekend.

Bringing up the rear among new wide releases at No. 8 was Jennifer Aniston's single-mom comedy "The Switch," which debuted with $8.1 million. The Disney release features Aniston as a woman whose drunken friend (Jason Bateman) switches her sperm specimen at a party to celebrate her artificial insemination.

Surprisingly, the overall box office was down only slightly compared with the same weekend last year, when "Inglourious Basterds" fired up the normally quiet late summer with a $38.1 million opening and "District 9" held up well with an $18.2 million second weekend.

Revenues this weekend came in at $125 million, down just 1.7 percent from the same weekend a year ago, according to box-office tracker Hollywood.com.

"It was the collective strength of these five newcomers, plus the holdovers," said Paul Dergarabedian of Hollywood.com. "Inglourious Basterds" and "District 9" were "so unusually strong for August that it should have made the comparison tough for this year. But the industry threw everything they had at the wall this weekend and tried to see what would stick."

Estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Hollywood.com. Final figures will be released Monday.

1. "The Expendables," $16.5 million.

2. "Vampires Suck," $12.2 million.

3. "Eat Pray Love," $12 million.

4. "Lottery Ticket," $11.1 million.

5. "The Other Guys," $10.1 million.

6. "Piranha 3D," $10 million.

7. "Nanny McPhee Returns," $8.3 million.

8. "The Switch," $8.1 million.

9. "Inception," $7.7 million.

She won for being naughty on the subject of muffins, and he won – twice – for singing and dancing.

Betty White's Facebook-generated Saturday Night Live hosting gig and Neil Patrick Harris's turns as Tonys host and special guest star on Glee landed both veteran TV stars in the winners' circle at Saturday night's Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

Though White, 88, was not at the Nokia Theater to collect her prize (her Snickers ad was also up for TV's highest honor), presenters John Lithgow and Clyde Phillips accepted on her behalf.

Meanwhile, Harris, 37, was present and accounted for – and he gave a special shout-out to Los Angeles Times forums moderator Chris "Boomer" Beachum, the newspaper reports. It was Boomer who revealed that the actor was missing from the list of nominees in the category of best special class, as host of the 63rd annual Tony Awards.

Accepting his gold statuette, Harris said, "I just want to thank Boomer from The Envelope, or I wouldn't have gotten this."

Harris, who also thanked his partner and (co-parent-to-be) David Burtka, is up for a best supporting actor in a series, for How I Met Your Mother, at next Sunday's Primetime Emmy Awards.

Saturday's other winners also included Jaime Oliver's Food Revolution (best reality series), previous Emmy-winning Survivor host Jeff Probst (best reality-show host) and Ann-Margret, for her guest -starring role on Law and Order: SVU.

The ad firm Weiden + Kennedy also received a Creative Arts Emmy for its Old Spice commercial, whose star, Isaiah Mustafa, told the Hollywood Reporter before the ceremony, "This is my first awards show, and I get to be nominated alongside Betty White!"

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer Get Married

From True Blood to true love – Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have tied the knot.

"Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin were married on Saturday evening in Malibu surrounded by their family and friends," the couple's reps tell PEOPLE.

Paquin – wearing a white halterneck gown and Neil Lane jewelry with her hair in an updo – and Moyer, clad in a dark suit, exchanged vows at sunset under a white tent at a beachside villa.

"It was a beautiful evening to get married and the sunset was gorgeous. Anna and Stephen seemed very excited to celebrate their wedding day," a source tells PEOPLE.

Celebrity guests included True Blood creator Alan Ball, costars Ryan Kwanten, Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley and Carrie Preston as well as actor Elijah Wood.

The good news comes after a year-long engagement for the stars of the hit HBO series. Moyer, 40, proposed with a vintage-style ring on the beach last August.

"It’s great to have the freedom to enjoy your work and not feel like you're leaving your other life behind," Paquin, 28, says of the couple's relationship. "It’s a pretty sweet setup."

Faith Evans Arrested on Drunken Driving Charge

Grammy-winning singer Faith Evans has been arrested after being stopped at a drunken driving checkpoint in the Los Angeles area.

Officer Cleon Joseph of the LAPD says the 37-year-old Evans was arrested Saturday night near Marina del Rey on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. He says Evans was held for a few hours and released on bail Sunday morning. Her car was impounded.

Spencer Pratt 'Going Forward' with Divorce from Heidi Montag

It's official: Speidi is really coming to an end.

Spencer Pratt's divorce papers in his split with Heidi Montag were filed in the Santa Monica, Calif., courthouse Thursday afternoon, Jodeane Farrell, a lawyer for Montag tells PEOPLE.

"Spencer has acknowledged that the divorce is going forward," Farrell added. "He signed the papers."

Pratt signed the documents last week on Aug. 13, which will make the former reality TV stars' divorce final six months from that date – on Valentine's Day.

Montag filed for divorce on July 30, citing irreconcilable differences.

Chelsea Handler to Host MTV Awards

It was officially announced that she would be the host of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, which will be shown Sept. 12.

That makes Ms. Handler the first woman in that role since 1994, when the awards program was hosted by Roseanne Barr.

“If there’s one awards show that I should be hosting, it’s probably this one,” Ms. Handler said in an interview by phone. “My personality probably wouldn’t jell with the Emmys or the Golden Globes.”

Ms. Handler is better known for her bawdy best-selling memoirs like “Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea” and “Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang” than for her program’s occasional roundtable discussions with rap artists like Lil Jon, Big Boi and Rick Ross.

But she says her irreverent comedic sensibility will help her win over an MTV viewership that is more likely tuning in for a performance by Justin Bieber, the 16-year-old pop sensation.

Stephen K. Friedman, the general manager of MTV, described Ms. Handler as “an unexpected choice.”

“And yet,” he said, “you look at her following from our audience and it makes sense. They’re passionate fans.”

Mr. Friedman said that in addition to Ms. Handler’s nightly duties on her E! show and her frequent live comedy shows, her books have sold particularly well with the college-age audience that MTV covets.

“There is a sweet spot that loves her,” Mr. Friedman said. “Her college fan base, for us, really made the point that she will appeal more broadly.”

Ms. Handler said that she would present a week of music-award-themed episodes of “Chelsea Lately” before the MTV broadcast. The lineup of guests is still being determined.

Fred Armisen and Abby Elliott's Relationship in 'Early Stages'

Conflicting work schedules and trying to maintain a long distance relationship caused Fred Armisen and Elisabeth Moss's marriage to come to an end, a source tells PEOPLE.

"Both him and Elisabeth have moved on," says the source about the SNL funnyman, 43, and Mad Men actress, 28, who wed in October and split in May. "It was totally amicable and friendly."

While Moss has remained low-key, the newly single Armisen recently reportedly stepped out with fellow SNL cast member Abby Elliott, 23, for a cozy dinner in Los Angeles.

"They are dating and it all happened after he and Elisabeth split," says the source. "They've always been close friends on set and … they started hanging out."

The relationship is "very new," adds the source. "It's nothing serious. It's still the early stages."

Miranda Kerr: I'm Pregnant!

Make room for another Victoria's Secret supermodel mommy.

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are expecting their first child together, the Australian model tells the Spanish edition of Vogue in its September issue.

"Yes, I am pregnant. Four months along," says Kerr, 27, confirming much buzz about a possible baby after the couple announced their engagement in June, then quietly wed in July.

It hasn't exactly been easy to keep the good news under wraps. "I remember on one occasion in the early days [of my pregnancy] when it was still too soon to say anything, and I had a dreadful time at one job," she says, recalling morning sickness during the first trimester.

Settling down and starting a family has always been on the agenda for Kerr.

"My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch," she told Page Six Magazine in 2008. "When this is all over, that's where I'll be. I've always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen."

AP Source: Tyler says he'll be an 'Idol' judge

A source close to Steven Tyler says the Aerosmith frontman told the source he will be a judge on Fox's "American Idol" next season.

While an official announcement about Tyler has yet to come from Fox and the producers of the top-rated show, the source told The Associated Press on Wednesday, "there is no reason to refute" Tyler's account. The source spoke only on the condition of anonymity because the source was not authorized to comment publicly on the matter.

Fox and producers FreemantleMedia North America and 19 Entertainment had no comment on the report.

The "Idol" judging panel has been in flux with the departure of mainstay Simon Cowell, as well as Ellen DeGeneres' recent announcement that she would not return for a second season.

Singer Wyclef Jean meets with Haiti's president

Haitian President Rene Preval met with presidential hopeful Wyclef Jean for more than two hours on Thursday, touching off a new round of speculation as to whether or not the singer would be included in a list of presidential candidates.

Jean told the Associated Press that he felt the exchange with Rene Preval was positive.

"I feel good," the hip hop artist and former Fugees frontman said. "I feel that the president that I voted for five years ago is the same person that was sitting in front of me today."

Earlier in the week, Jean said he had received death threats. Jean said Preval expressed concern and offered him security.

The singer — and several dozen other presidential candidates — are scheduled to find out Friday if the country's electoral council allows them to run for office.

The council, which is known as the CEP, was supposed to release the presidential candidate list on Tuesday, but postponed the decision.

For several days, Haitians, bloggers and international media have speculated whether Jean will be on the list. Under Haitian law, candidates for president must reside in the country for five years prior to taking office.

Jean — who was born in Haiti but moved to New York when he was nine — contends he meets the requirements, and has hired lawyers to defend his case.

After meeting with Preval, Jean was confident that he will be allowed to campaign.

"It looks like it's leaning that way," Jean said.

A spokesman for the CEP, Richardson Dumel, said Thursday evening that "the list is not yet final" and added that he cannot disclose who has made the cut.

Jean added that Preval told him that he wanted to "meet with every possible presidential candidate," and called for a peaceful campaign leading up to the Nov. 28 election.

A call to Preval's press office was not returned.

Despite being raised in New York, Jean never became an American citizen.

Ricky Martin's autobiography due in November

Ricky Martin has picked an appropriate title for his autobiography: "Me."

The Puerto Rican singer is set to release his memoir on Nov. 2. It will also be released in Spanish the same day. That edition will be titled "Yo," which is Spanish for "I" and "me."

Martin has said that preparing to write the book was one of the reasons he decided to reveal earlier this year that he is gay.

Martin said in a statement Thursday that the project led him to extract memories that he had erased from his mind. He says the book was not easy but allowed for an "incredible spiritual journey."

Kat Von D: Why I'm Jesse James's Type

The connection between Kat Von D and Jesse James isn't only skin deep.

"Just because I have tattoos doesn't mean, 'Oh, you guys are a perfect match,' " the star of TLC's LA Ink, 28, tells the Kevin & Bean radio show on L.A.'s KROQ-FM. "I think that I'm his type on a different level than people would assume."

She and James, 41, may be newly involved romantically – Kat admitted they were dating in a short-lived tweet on Wednesday, following a dinner together in Las Vegas on Saturday – but their history goes back a lot further.

"I've known Jesse since I was 22, actually. We've always been friends, you know?" the tattoo artist said in the Wednesday interview. "He had his show on Discovery, that's how we met. I was looking for some advice when I first started on Miami Ink."

When it comes to James's cheating scandal and the collapse of his marriage to Sandra Bullock, Kat says she can relate to his crisis.

"I am a believer that we're all human and we're all capable of making mistakes," she says. "I think if I were to be crucified for my drug addiction three years ago now, it would be hard to live with that. I'm sober now, and it's awesome. But I have made mistakes, too. … I've got a lot of respect for Jesse and how he handled it."

D.A.: Snooki Is Criminally Annoying

A prosecutor says Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is not just being charged with disorderly conduct and creating a public nuisance, but also annoying people on a beach.

Yes, that's a crime in New Jersey.

At a hearing in Seaside Heights on Wednesday, an attorney for the Jersey Shore star entered not guilty pleas to all three charges, which relate to an arrest July 30 for being intoxicated in public.

No matter how it turns out, the pint-sized Snooki is not expected to serve jail time. If she's convicted of all three charges, she faces $2,000 in fines. Her attorney claims her clean record should keep maximum fines down to $500.

Snooki says the case has made her "feel like a criminal" and that it's caused her to rethink her habits.

Joe Perry Knocks Steven Tyler Offstage

Aerosmith's future has been called into question once again after Joe Perry was caught on camera bumping Steven Tyler offstage during a concert in Toronto, Canada on Tuesday night.

Video footage of the incident, which occurred during the band's performance of Love in an Elevator, has been posted on TMZ.com, showing Perry rocking out on his guitar while standing on the edge of a runway extended from the main stage.

Frontman Tyler can be seen approaching him and lightly bumping Perry, causing him to stumble forward before regaining his balance. Perry then walks up behind Tyler and knocks the singer with his hip, sending him flying face-first into the audience. Security guards rush to aid the aging rocker as he climbs back to his feet and he is given a helping hand from Perry as he is pulled back onstage, declaring, "That won't be happening again."

The duo's unusual behavior has sparked fresh speculation all is not well within the group after a series of issues over the past year. Trouble began brewing when Tyler unexpectedly quit the band last year. The remaining band members decided to audition for a new singer so they could continue plans for a tour and a new album, but Tyler's lawyers blocked the move and he subsequently rejoined them.

However, they were rocked again recently when Tyler admitted he was considering joining the judging panel on hit reality show American Idol - a commitment which could put the band on hold for months. His admission prompted Perry to blast the singer for failing to share the news with the rest of the group before going public about the job offer.

Samantha Harris Expecting Baby No. 2

She's usually the one delivering the news but Samantha Harris has her own big announcement: She's pregnant.

"Being able to hold and cuddle and have a little baby cuddle against you and fall asleep is such a fleeting moment in time, and I really can't wait for that again," the Entertainment Tonight correspondent, 36, tells PEOPLE.

This will be the second child for the former Dancing with the Stars co-host and husband Michael Hess.

The couple welcomed daughter Josselyn Sydney Hess in September 2007.

"I'm most excited to have a second child to play with Josselyn, to see how Josselyn blossoms as a young girl being able to teach a sibling all that she knows," says Harris. "She's so excited. She tells me every day the different things she's gonna teach the new baby."

Kat Von D Tweets – Then Deletes – She's Dating Jesse James

Kat Von D's fingers apparently spoke too soon.

After Tweeting Wednesday, "Yes, Jesse and I are dating," the LA Ink star, 28, took down the message, though it was quickly spread and re-Tweeted by more than 100 people.

Her rep has said she and the motorcycle mogul, 41, are just friends and their cozy night out in Vegas over the weekend wasn't the start of a new relationship.

But a source tells PEOPLE their friendship could possibly turn into something more.

"Jesse and Kat drove to Las Vegas together in Jesse's car. It was just the two of them and they slept in the same room," says the source. "They have been friends for years, but this is the first time they are both single."

James's ex Sandra Bullock tells PEOPLE in its current issue that the two have "moved on with our lives and only want the best for each other."

The singer overdosed on aspirin and other pills at her home in Charlotte, N.C., last week.

Her manager says she wasn't trying to kill herself, but police believed they were responding to a suicide attempt. The overdose came days after a woman accused Fantasia in court documents of having an affair with her husband.

The former "American Idol" winner will make TV appearances, including stops at "Good Morning America" and "Live with Regis & Kelly," in the next couple weeks to promote her third album. The CD, titled "Back to Me," is out on Aug. 24.

Danielle Staub Likely Leaving Real Housewives of New Jersey

For two years, Danielle Staub has been at the center of the drama on Real Housewives of New Jersey.

But now, PEOPLE has learned, the Bravo reality star is likely leaving the show after the end of Season 2 and is not expected to participate in a third season.

In a statement posted on her Twitter page, Staub, 48, acknowledges rumors of her departure, but declines to offer any details about her plans — including rumors she’ll star in a solo spin-off show.

“I’m not even thinking about season 3 right now,” Staub says. “I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me. Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6.”

A rep for Bravo says, “We haven’t announced anything regarding a 3rd season.”

Khloé Kardashian: Getting Pregnant Is 'in God's Hands'

Dogged by pregnancy rumors for months, Khloé Kardashian says that she isn't actively trying to get pregnant. But she isn't not trying, either.

"It's in God's hands, and let it happen when it happens," the reality star told PEOPLE in the Swagg Mobile Application lounge at Saturday's Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge in Bridgehampton, N.Y.

"I'm 26. It should happen naturally. I don't want to force it. I would love to have a baby, and if I get pregnant, I get pregnant." She adds with a laugh: "I don't think, like ... my biological clock is ticking!"

That laidback attitude might not be great news to Lamar Odom, who's made no secret of wanting a child with his wife sooner rather than later. But when it does happen, Kardashian says the NBA star will be a great father.

"He's already a great dad," she says. "He has two beautiful children [with ex-girlfriend Liza Morales] who he is an amazing father to ... But he definitely wants a baby right now."

Kardashian admits that seeing older sister Kourtney have a son, Mason, in December put everything in a different perspective. But even that didn't necessarily move up her own timetable.

"Being an aunt, I have the best of both worlds," Kardashian says. "I have him ... and give him [back] when I'm over it and need adult time."

Heidi Montag Mourns Death of Her Plastic Surgeon

Heidi Montag says she's devastated by the death of the surgeon who transformed her body.

"He was the most amazing person I have ever known. He was an angel and changed my life and the lives of everyone he met," Montag, 23, Tweeted Tuesday about Dr. Frank Ryan, who performed her 10 procedures last year.

"He was the most brilliant talented surgeon who will ever exist," she adds. "My thoughts and prayers go out to his mother, family, friends, and anyone who was ever blessed enough to meet him. He is in a better place."

Ryan died Monday after his Jeep careened off the Pacific Coast Highway, according to TMZ.com.

While an autopsy is underway, the former Hills star said her doctor lived an alcohol and drug-free life. "FYI Dr. Ryan never drank, never smoked," she Tweeted. "He's never done drugs this was something everyone knows about him. He was always on call 24/7."

"We are all in shock," Ryan's rep tells PEOPLE. "He was such a hardworking philanthropic man, a loving son, and responsible for changing many people's lives for the better. He will be missed by many."

Jenny McCarthy's Mystery Man's Identity Revealed

Jenny McCarthy has officially moved on.

After she teased on Twitter about dating a "mystery man," the identity of the actress's new guy is a mystery no more. His name: Jason Toohey, 35, and he is a Las Vegas resident and former fitness model who has been quietly dating McCarthy for two months.

In fact, things are going so well that the two already live together – temporarily, at least.

"I've been living in Vegas for about a month. My house is under construction right now in L.A., so I very well could be here until it's done," McCarthy, 37, told PEOPLE at Saturday's Midsummer Night's Dream party at Las Vegas's Palms Casino Resort. "It's been awesome here."

While McCarthy didn't offer any details about Toohey, her rep confirmed to PEOPLE that they were indeed an item.

Still, the two haven't been exactly shy about their romance, having been spotted on several dates in Las Vegas. They also shared kisses Saturday as McCarthy hosted the Midsummer Night's Dream bash.

Toohey, who once starred as a pirate in Treasure Island's Sirens of TI show, is the founder of Eyedews, an under-eye mask treatment. Recently, McCarthy began promoting the product via Twitter and on Las Vegas television.

After her April breakup with longtime boyfriend Jim Carrey, McCarthy says she is focusing on "change and growth."

"But I feel really good," she said. "I'm really happy [and] I'm looking forward to the future."

Comrie proposed during a romantic break in Hawaii in February after two years of dating. Duff recently splashed out $3.85 million on a new Hollywood marital mansion for the pair.

Neil Patrick Harris And Partner 'Expecting Twins'

Gay actor Neil Patrick Harris and his long-term partner are to become parents to twins this autumn.

The How I Met Your Mother star and actor/chef David Burtka are preparing to welcome two tiny tots into their family - and the pair couldn't be more thrilled about the imminent arrivals.

In a post on his Twitter.com page, Harris writes, "So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall. We're super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy..."

The star denied reports last year that he and Burtka were planning to have a baby, but admitted that they would consider children "maybe someday".

It is not known whether the couple is planning to adopt or has lined up a surrogate mother to bear children for them.

Paula Cook 'Humiliated' By Husband's Alleged Affair with Fantasia Barrino

All Paula Cook wanted was to have a happy life with husband Antwaun and their children – but her husband's alleged affair with Fantasia Barrino ruined all that, according to Paula's attorney.

"She is saddened and disheartened by the end of her marriage," divorce attorney Tamela Wallace tells PEOPLE. "She's embarrassed, and humiliated and distressed by the lack of respect that was shown for her marriage by Ms. Barrino."

Pictures surfaced Friday of the American Idol season 3 winner meeting with Antwaun Cook in a local Charlotte, N.C., park – and being filmed by video cameras presumably for her VH1 reality show, Fantasia for Real.

"It's that kind of brazen behavior that Mrs. Cook has had to endure for the last 11 months, until June of this year," Wallace says. "This is something that has caused her emotional distress, pain, anguish."

According to court documents, Paula had planned a wedding anniversary trip to New Orleans for herself and her husband Antwaun, and ended up going alone. While she was there, she was informed that her husband was having an affair with Barrino.

"She wanted nothing more than to have a happy family with her husband and her children. And she's not been able to do that," Wallace says. Her attorney describes Paula, a special education teacher at a local high school, as "just the quintessential soccer mom."

Wallace wouldn't confirm that her client might sue Barrino, 26, under the much talked about "home wrecker" law. But, she says, her client is "weighing her options."

Barrino's lawyer, Gena Morris, told PEOPLE that: "[Paula Cook] has threatened via her lawyers to me to sue Fantasia."

Morris called the so called "home wrecker" laws "a comical irony ... because they arise out of laws when women were property of men."

Paula's lawyer emphasizes that her client is a private citizen who didn’t ask for her husband's affair to make national news.

"The only mistake she made was marrying a man who Ms. Barrino felt like she was entitled to have," Wallace says. "She is having to defend her marriage, when she didn't ask for this."

Tila Tequila 'Attacked' At Festival

Tila Tequila has called in police after she was allegedly hit with beer bottles and "fire crackers" while onstage at a music festival in Illinois.

The reality TV star has released pictures of her bruised and bloodied face, which she claims were the result of a prolonged attack when she was at the Gathering of the Juggalos event, which began on Thursday.

Tequila, real name Tila Nguyen, claims she was onstage when audience members threw several objects at her which caused her severe injuries. The 28 year old alleges she fled the stage only to be followed by several revelers who were "trying to kill" her - and police were called to calm the situation.

She tells TMZ.com, "I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, dudes were throwing huge stone rocks in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair on fire cuz they threw fire crackers on stage, and they even took the s**t out of the port-0-potty (portable toilet) and threw s**t and piss at me when I was onstage.

"These people were trying to kill me. So then after the last blow to my head with the firecracker they threw at me exploded (sic), my bodyguard and the other security grabbed me and ran as fast as they could to the s**tty trailer... Even the guys inside with me were shaking! Their hands were shaking cuz they were so scared!"

Fantasia 911 Call: 'She's Slowly Losing Consciousness'

Fantasia Barrino was "slowly losing consciousness" after ingesting a bottle of aspirin Monday night, according to a tape of the 911 call.

The unidentified caller, who was not inside the singer's North Carolina home, tells the emergency operator that Barrino is awake but someone had placed the American Idol season 3 champ, 26, in the shower to try "to keep her awake."

The operator instructs the caller to immediately tell the individual to remove Barrino from the shower. When asked if she is breathing, the caller responds, "Yes."
Barrino was then transported to a Charlotte, N.C., hospital. After being treated, her manager Brian Dickens told reporters that "her injuries [were] not life threatening," adding that she was in stable condition and expected to be released soon.

A report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department classified the incident, which came just after Barrino was accused in a court complaint of breaking up a marriage, as a suicide attempt.

At the time, Dickens said Barrino "was totally overwhelmed with the lawsuit" and was "heartbroken and is sorry for any pain she may have caused."

Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Out As Potential 'American Idol' Judge

After a flurry of "American Idol"-related news about two weeks ago (lead by Ellen DeGeneres giving up her seat behind the judges' table), things have been relatively quiet on the "Idol" front. When DeGeneres stepped away, rumors swirled that Jennifer Lopez was the top candidate to take the job (with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler supposedly rounding out the roster). But according to People.com, Lopez's name has been scratched from the list of potential candidates.

"Her demands got out of hand," a source told the site. "Fox had just had enough."

If this development proves to be true, it leaves one of the most popular shows on television still in a chaotic transition period. Show creator, executive producer and lead judge Simon Cowell has checked out in order to focus on his new program, "X-Factor." Meanwhile, DeGeneres has already exited and rumors continue to suggest that Kara DioGuardi has also judged her last contestant on "Idol." Though original executive producer Nigel Lythgoe is back in the fold (and wants to bring back Paula Abdul), the future of the show remains decidedly up in the air.

With Lopez theoretically out, maybe the producers should consider Mariah Carey. According to her husband, Nick Cannon, Carey has talked about the possibility of working on the show (where she has served as a guest mentor in the past). "She says, 'I would love to do that.' She is one of the greatest singers of our time; she would be great," Cannon told The Hollywood Reporter. "I don't know if she has enough time, though, but if they could work with her schedule, I know she would love to do 'Idol.' Let's start the campaign!"

Meanwhile, preparation continues on the upcoming 10th season of "American Idol." Auditions are taking place in Austin, Texas, Wednesday (August 11) and are scheduled for San Francisco on August 19. The new season will premiere on Fox on January 12, 2011.
