Ellen DeGeneres Launches Her Own Record Label

Comedienne-turned-TV personality Ellen DeGeneres has launched her own record label and her first signing is YouTube.com sensation Greyson Chance.

Chance made his TV debut on the American Idol judge's talk show earlier this month and he'll return on Wednesday to help DeGeneres launch her latest project, eleveneleven Records. The singer shot to fame when his performance of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi at a church talent show was posted online.

DeGeneres says, "Greyson inspired me to start a record label called eleveneleven. He is my first artist and we are making a record together." The youngster has some impressive names behind him - Madonna's manager Guy Oseary and Lady Gaga's Svengali Troy Carter will co-represent Chance.

Chance can't believe the whirlwind of the last two weeks - since his video first appeared on YouTube.com. He says, "It's crazy thinking about 30 million people (checking it out). It just makes me happy. It really just hasn't sunken in yet... It's awesome."

Chance will perform his original song Broken Hearts, which will be his first single, on Wednesday's Ellen.
