King Calls Off Divorce

U.S. newscaster Larry King has called off his divorce and has moved back into the family home he shares with his wife Shawn Southwick.
The CNN anchorman and his wife both cited irreconcilable differences when they filed for divorce last month, after 13 years of marriage.

They had a change of heart at the beginning of the month, postponing any further divorce action and signing up for relationship counseling. King's lawyer Dennis Wasser insisted the pair needed "to discuss and resolve" issues.

And the talks appear to have worked -- King's spokesperson has confirmed the 76 year old and Southwick have scrapped divorce proceedings and are sticking together for the sake of their two children.

The rep says, "He has moved back home."

A joint statement from the couple reads, "We love our children, we love each other, we love being a family. That is all that matters to us.

"We owe it to ourselves and our children to continue being dedicated to each other. We want to thank our friends for their loyal love and support -- for being there for us."

King has been married eight times to seven different women.
